Obtain SIP credentials

Overview

SIP Caller connects to your Phone System as a remote extension. If your Phone System supports the SIP standard protocol, then SIP Caller can connect to it. You will need to create an extension in your Phone System for SIP Caller, and then obtain the SIP credentials.

Obtain SIP credentials

SIP Credentials consist in 2 or 3 values (depending on the Phone System):

• Username: this is usually the extension number.
• Auth ID: when your Phone System doesn’t provide this, it usually matches the Username.
• Password: this is also known as secret.
